Margaret Jenene Mangum Raynor

Jenene Mangum Raynor, 94, of Oxford passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Brantwood Nursing and Rehab.

Born on September 15, 1931, in Granville County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Zollie Calvin Mangum and Daisy Ione Harris.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Oxford. Pastor Dean Perry and Pastor Brad Wiggs will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Freeman (Cathy) and Kerry Freeman (Gina); six grandchildren, Stacie St. Pierre (Shane), Adam Freeman (Brandi), Sarah Harris (Adam), Hannah True (David), Laura Harris (Todd) and Ashley Arvo (Kirk); eight great grandchildren, Allie Harris, Clifton True, Luke Freeman, Ellington Freeman, Savannah St. Pierre, Seth St. Pierre, Layney Harris and Grey Harris and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Warren Freeman; two sisters, Hazel Briggs and Inez Oakes and three brothers, Buck Mangum, Jasper Mangum and Lindey Mangum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.
