Margaret Elizabeth Tippett, 83, of Henderson, NC died Monday, May 26, 2025, at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Ann Hedgepeth Tippett and Henry Crawford Tippett. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving is four sisters, Katie Louise Wood, Mary Ray (Millard), Helen Tippett Inman, and Dorothy "Dot" Woodlief (Bennie) and four brothers, William Tippett (Shirley), Roy Tippett (Jean), James "Jim" Tippett (Rhonda), and Frank Tippett (Gail), along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Goodwin and three brothers, Alex Tippett, Charlie Tippett, and baby boy Tippett.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
