Marie Elizabeth Price Fiester, 76, of Butner passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Born in Franklin County, VA., on October 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Charles Philip Price and Irene Nichols Price; was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leslie Meredith Fiester. Marie graduated from Franklin County High School in 1964 and immediately went to work for Bank of Hampton Roads. Throughout her approximately 52 work years she obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees while working for several banks in Virginia, Maryland and Nevada. She retired from Wells Fargo in Las Vegas as Vice President of Trusts.

Inurnment will take place in Hampton Memorial Gardens, with her late husband, Leslie M. Fiester, on June 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served after the service at First United Methodist Church of Newport News, VA.

Family members include three sisters, Bessie Oakley (Sam), Elleshia Poulin and Annette Ferguson; two brothers, John Charles Price (Cathy) and Philip Pennix Price (Sharon); seven nieces, Stacy Buchanan Hurley (Matt), the late Brittany Ruth Narron Oakley, Holly Ferguson, Samantha Bowen (Gabe), Amber Stanley (Ryan), Victoria and Gini Poulin, Paisleigh and Waverly Price; two nephews Isaac Kennen (Ella), the late Rusty Kilgore Price; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
