Susan B. Englebright

Mary "Susan" Bawcum Englebright, 64, of Oxford, NC died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of Bettie Roach Bawcum and the late William Harvey Bawcum.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.  Burial will immediately follow in the Englebright Family Cemetery in Oxford.

Surviving are her husband of twenty-three years, Kenneth Randolph "Randy" Englebright Sr.; two sons, Jon Renn and Joshua Renn; three step children, Gayla Brogdon (Chris), April Englebright and Kenneth R. "Kennie" Englebright Jr. (Ashley); one brother, Robert Bawcum and one sister, Sharon Bawcum; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, William "Billy" Harvey Bawcum Jr.

The family will receive friends the hour before the service at Sossamon Funeral Home.  All other times, they will be at her home.

Serving as pall bearers will be Garland Hicks, Blaine Brogdon, Jonathan Bagwell, Joseph Eatmon, Nelson Englebright and Kenny Harp.

Memorials may be made to Randy at his home.
