Mary Elizabeth Suitt Renn, 87, of Butner passed away Friday, December 16, 2022.

Mary was born in Granville County on June 17, 1935 to Aubrey Ray Suitt and Zula Estelle O'Neal Suitt.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church officiated by Reverend David Herman. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Survivors include one son, Joseph B. Renn III (Teresa); three daughters, Lisa Wilson (Barry), Judy Bass (Steve) and Josie Brame (Berry); five grandchildren, Cliff Brame (Leanne), Mary Elizabeth Dover (Ryan), Matt Wilson, Jordan Renn LaCato and Sarah Wilson; six great grandchildren, Maddox, Lilly, Aubree, Carter, Layla, and Mary Warner; and many nieces and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph B. Renn Jr.; one grandson, Wesley Ray Brame; two sisters, Melba Ray Parham and Katie Suitt Cutts, and two brothers, Jesse Hinnant Suitt and O'neal Suitt.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 19, 2022, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
