Maxine W Elliott

Maxine Williams Elliott 99, of Henderson, NC, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at Universal Healthcare in Oxford.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of Eugene Furman Williams and Sally Roberson Williams. She was the widow of Sidney Macon Elliott.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Island Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Conducted by Pastor Steve Smith.

Survivors include three nieces, Crystal Eure (Miles), Shenna Tunstall and Gail Oakley; three nephews, Travis Smith, Rusty Oakley and spouse, and Cody Oakley and spouse; as well as many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Williams; and three brothers, John Williams, George Williams and Bernis Williams.

Flowers will kindly be accepted.

The family will receive friends at Sossamon Funeral Home in Henderson on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. At other times they will be at the home of Robert Tunstall, 120 West Main Street, Kittrell, NC 27544.
