Merry Louise Kozoman, 72, of Oxford, North Carolina, passed away peacefully. She was born in Rockford, Illinois, and dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse and to loving her family deeply.

Merry was known for her kind heart, sense of humor, and genuine warmth. She loved being a mom more than anything. She enjoyed the beach, dancing, and good music—especially Fleetwood Mac. Some of her favorite joys in life were spending time with her family, shopping and going out to eat with her daughter, and taking trips with her siblings.

She is survived by her two children, Melissa Louise Kozoman and Matthew Strole; her siblings Sandy Foster, Sue Bollock, Giles Eddy, Kim Lenger, Stacy Wendt, Jean McAloon, and Sharon; as well as her many nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law who loved her dearly.

Merry will be remembered as the salt of the earth—sweet, genuine, and full of love. Her kindness, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. There will be a private family gathering on December 6th.
