Michael Gene Dickerson, 67, of Henderson, NC died Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Maria Parham Health.
Born In Vance County, he was the son of the late Maude Pendergrass and George Daniel Dickerson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.  Burial will follow Shocco Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are two sisters, Myrtle D. Lassiter and Marie D. Pittman (Earl) and one brother, Maynard Dickerson (Marie), along with several nieces and nephews and extended family members. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William Dickerson, Maryland Dickerson and Jay Dickerson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home.
