Mildred Campbell Davis 92, of Henderson, NC, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Smyth County, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Garfield Campbell and Lillian Bragg Campbell. She was the widow of Garnett Dee Davis.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Henderson. Conducted by Rev. Ricky Easter. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sue Vaughan (David) and Mary Ann Rowe (Charles); one son, Harold G Davis (Clarissa); three grandchildren, Timothy J. Roberson (Spring), Brian Gregory (Amber) and Michael Gregory (Kelly); eight great grandchildren, Bryce Roberson, Carleigh Roberson, Jennah Roberson, Christopher Roberson, Hannah Gregory, MJ Gregory, Aria Gregory and David Norwood; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Eugene Davis; two sisters; and one brother.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Roberson, Bryce Roberson, Brian Gregory, Michael Gregory, Wayne Cash, and David Norwood.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
