Mildred Hill Satterwhite, 94, of Creedmoor passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth C. Hill of Youngsville. Mrs. Satterwhite was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Satterwhite.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Hill and Myrtle Cash, and her brother, K. B. Hill.

Mrs. Satterwhite is survived by her daughter, Shae Satterwhite (Michael Martin) of Wake Forest, and her son, Terry Satterwhite (Melissa) of South Carolina, and her granddaughter, Shawn Britt (Craig Haines) of Raleigh.  She is also survived by three grandchildren; Ty Satterwhite (Autumn), Leigh Ann West, Trent Satterwhite (Makayla) and four great grandchildren of South Carolina.

She was a longtime, faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a true Christian. She had many, many friends within the church and the community.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 12 noon at Sossamon Funeral Home, 834 N. Main Street, Creedmoor, NC.  She will be laid to rest in Creedmoor, at Carolina Memorial Gardens Cemetery, beside her beloved husband.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
