Milton D. Ross

Milton Dorsey Ross, 86, of Henderson, NC died Saturday April 30, 2022 in Youngsville, NC.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Melvin Ross and Lois Vickers Ross. He was the widower of Laura Reaves Ross.

Mr. Ross was a retired buyer with the former Roses Stores.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. David Averette.

Surviving is one son, Ronald Thomas Ross (Carlynn); four grandchildren, Michael J. Thornton (Emma), Jonathan Conner (Jessica), Douglas Ross and Ryan Ross, one great-grandchild, Sean Ross Thornton; and one brother, Ralph Ross (Mildred).  Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Ross and one brother, Raymond Ross.
