Nancy Elizabeth Greenway Elliott, 85, of Oxford passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home.

Born in Granville County on March 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John Harvey Greenway Sr. and Esther Mae Jones.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Nancy was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church for many years. She had a passion for lighthouses, flowers, and her granddaughter, Ashley, who was the apple of her eye.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Calvin W. Elliott; two sons, Mike Elliott and Gary Elliott (Brenda); one granddaughter, Ashley Elliott Dickerson (Jake) and two sisters, Josephine and Barbara Jean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Greenway Jr.; one sister, Dorothy "Dot" Woodward and one daughter-in-law, Debra Elliott.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church or to Rushing Waters Outreach Church.
