Nancy Soble Riggan, 69, of Oxford, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Duke Regional Medical Center.

Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mavona Soble. She moved with her family to Durham , NC at the age of sixteen.

Nancy was an RN graduate of the 1975 Watts School of Nursing graduating class. The past thirty years, she has been a Home Health Nurse in Granville, Vance, Franklin and Person Counties.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.

She is survived by three sons, Christopher Lee Goodwin (Holly), Andrew Goodwin (Bobbie) and Trav is Brown; two grandchildren, Kayleigh Goodwin and Phoenix Kyle Goodwin; her brother, Clifford Norman Soble (Skip) who resides in New Hampshire; two nephews, Steve Horn and Matt Soble and two nieces, Marti Slade and Shena Glick of Florida. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Scalzitti.
