Norman Daniel Clifford, Jr., 85 of Kittrell passed away peacefully Monday, January 29, 2024, at his home.
Born in Suffolk County, NY, he was the son of the late Norman Daniel Clifford Sr and Sarah Averett Clifford.
Norman was an honest and hardworking man, he served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. During his time in the Marine Corps, Norman was a Stenographer. Norman then began Clifford Septic Installation which he retired from. Norman loved working outside and operating heavy equipment, especially his backhoe.
Survivors include his wife, of sixty years, Joann Danks Clifford; one daughter, Michelle Clifford Spiers; two sons, Norman Daniel "Danny" Clifford III and Christopher John "Chris" Clifford (Michele); eight grandchildren, Michael Spiers, Matthew Spiers, Sarah Clifford, Cody Clifford, Nicole Clifford, Kelly Clifford, Katie Clifford, Krissy Clifford, and one step-grandson, Andrew Messiano; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Voepel and one brother, James S Clifford (Phyllis). Norman was preceded in death by his parents.
Norman will be deeply missed by all.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
