Carolyn Paige Currin Daniel, 84, of Creedmoor passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Brantwood Nursing Center.
Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James Frank Currin and Ruby Zion Currin.
Paige was a past member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for many years. She was a current member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Creedmoor. Paige had many hobbies including riding and showing horses, crafts and gardening. She loved the mountains.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include four children, Ruby Karen Daniel, Douglas James Daniel, Tammie Kay Daniel and Gerald Robert Daniel (Sherry), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Currin, Bill Currin, Aubrey Currin, and Poe Currin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor and other times at the home of Gerald and Sherry Daniel.
