Pamela C Smoak

Pamela Cash Smoak 73, of Butner, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her home.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late J.G. Cash and Mary Grace Currin Cash.

Pam worked at John Umstead Hospital for thirty-two years before retiring from the Department of Neurology and Clinical Directors Office.

Pam was a longtime member of Living Word Baptist Church, where she served as church Secretary and taught children's and youth Sunday School Classes.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Living Word Baptist Church. Conducted by Pastor Mike Vaughan. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Tony Smoak; one son, Kevin Smoak (Patty); grandchildren, Isaac, Jayden and Kade; and one sister, Deborah Ellington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Marty Cash.

The family will receive friends at Living Word Baptist Church on Monday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Tom Currin, Darry Whitlow, Larry Minor, Ray Kennedy, Joby Currin and Jerry Clemmer.
