Patricia Medlin, 71, a resident of Granville County passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at Duke University Hospital.
Born in Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Sim Medlin and Gwendaline Merritt Medlin.
Patricia worked at Duke University for forty years in the Office of Information Technology before retiring in 2010. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Butner and was involved in multiple service projects.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens officiated by Blaine Britt.
Survivors include her beloved son, Gene Mitchell of Creedmoor; one sister, Dapine Cox of Durham; one brother, Alton Medlin of Stem and numerous nieces and a nephew.
