Patricia Dupree Smith, 83, of Butner passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at her home.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Gladys Dupree.
She was a member of Butner Presbyterian Church and owned and operated Butner Florist and Gift Shop.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor David Vellenga.
Survivors include one son, Jamie Smith (Michaele); three grandchildren, Megan Ganzert (Matt), Courtney Outen (Todd) and Jay Smith (Bailey); six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Smith; one great grandchild, Weston Ganzert and two siblings, Faye Cates and Jessie Ray Dupree.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
