Patsy Sorrell Sykes, 64, of Creedmoor, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at her home.
Born in Durham County on March 3, 1960, she was the daughter of Peggy Ann Watkins and the late Robert Lee Sorrell.
Patsy had a passion for the lake and fishing at Kure Beach and she loved her animals, Macey, Lucky and Sunny, dearly.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.
Survivors include one son, Chris Sykes (Brittany); two grandsons, Colton Sykes and Ryder Sykes; her mother, Peggy Sorrell; one sister, Debbie Sorrell (Steve) and special family friends, Tony and Gloria Hay. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Sorrell and her grandparents, Herman and Annie Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patsy's memory to the Mr. Mo Project, 641 Grooms Rd. #235, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
