Patsy Louise Liner Weaver, 76, of Franklinton, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 after a brief illness.

Born in Wake County on April 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Reverend George Troy Liner and Myrtle Louise Holt Liner.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Brassfield Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Curtis Dupree. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Patsy worked different jobs throughout her life, trying to find what fit her. She began working at Coca Cola of Durham in 1977, where she met her future husband, R.L. Weaver. Years later, she worked as a medical secretary at the Bone Marrow Transplant office at Duke University Hospital, where she later retired in 1999.

She spent her golden years helping to raise her three favorite babies, April, Emma and Wesley. This is when she affectionately became known as Mimi. These were her most cherished times. She and her late husband, R.L., thanked God for all the joy He helped bring into their lives.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Brassfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Ginger Liner, Laura Liner, Mark Liner, Carlyn Dunn Cowick, Chris Dunn, Teah Kelly, Stuart Liner, Allen Liner, Roger Liner; her three babies, April Liner, Emma Weaver and Wesley Weaver, several great nieces and nephews and the countless friends she made throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, R.L. Weaver; a stepson, Ricky Weaver; two brothers, Jackie Liner and Hugh Liner and a sister, Jean Dunn. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
