Patsy E West

Patsy Edwards West 78, of Henderson, NC, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisburg.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Curtis Edwards and Maude Wilder Edwards. She was the widow of Jake Thurston West.

Patsy was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Survivors include one sister, Peggy Edwards Hoyle; one niece, Brenda Coker (William); three nephews, Malcolm Sanford (Sharon), Curtis Sanford (Toni) and Toby Hoyle (Katlyn); as well as other extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Edwards.
