Paul Wayne Scarboro, 84, of Butner, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion.

Paul was born in Orange County on April 26, 1938 to Paul D. Scarboro and Gracie M. Scarboro.

Survivors include, one daughter, Teresa Scarboro Baines and her husband, Tommy Baines; a son, Jerry Wayne Scarboro of Stem; grandson, Thomas A. Baines; step-granddaughter, Jordan Baines; twin brother, Walter Scarboro of Danville, VA; former wife and friend, Brenda Scarboro; numerous nieces and nephews and his favorite companion, Richie Baines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul D. Scarboro and Gracie M. Scarboro and two sisters, Myrtle Wright and Marie Howard.

The family will receive family and friends Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.
