Richard Jason Crews, 55, of Creedmoor passed away unexpectantly, Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Born in Durham County on October 8, 1971, he was the son of Laura Emory Crews and the late David Richard Crews.

Jason was a heavy equipment operator for John Bryan's Grading and Clearing for many years and he attended Bullock's United Methodist Church. He loved his family immensely and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Emory Crews and two nephews, Brandon Cole Crews and Bryson Cade Crews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jared Brandon Crews; two cousins, Truett Emory and Marty Crews and his grandparents, E.R. and Frances Crews and George and Nell Emory.
