Robert T. Shaw

Robert Terry "Bob" Shaw 79, of Henderson, NC, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at Duke University Hospital.

Mr. Shaw proudly served in the United States Air Force.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. Conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Born in Bowling Green, KY, he was the son of the late James Sawyer Shaw Sr. And Irene Vance Smith Shaw.

Bob worked for Harriet & Henderson for 20 years in I.T. as a Senior Systems Analyst.

Survivors include one nephew, James Sawyer Shaw III (Jennifer); one great nephew, Alexander Shaw; one great niece, Vivian Shaw; and one niece, Kimberly Furlow (Warren). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Sawyer Shaw Jr.
