Ronald K Sanford

Ronald Kenneth Sanford 50, of Henderson, NC, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at ECU Health in Greenville.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Richard Thomas Sanford Sr and Patricia Medlin Sanford.

Ronald was of the Baptist faith.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson Chapel. Conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Allen Sanford; one daughter, Kayla Danielle Sanford; two sons, Nicolas Hunter Sanford (Reta) and Christian Bryar Sanford (Cole); four grandchildren, Keithan Jase Ellington, Emilia Elise Ellington, Destin Lane Ellington and Kaiser Alexander Sanford; three brothers, Richard "Peanut" Thomas Sanford Jr (Rhonda), Robert Mitchell Sanford and Rodney Glenn Sanford; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Randall E. Sanford; and his son in law, Ricky Vann Ellington.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 9, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson.
