Ronnie H Hayes

Ronnie Huffman Hayes 80, of Henderson, NC passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Sidney Green Hayes and Elizabeth Burgess Hayes.

He was a longtime member of Gillburg United Methodist Church but attended New Bethel Baptist Church.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. Conducted by Rev. Jonathan Owen and Rev. Milton Abbott. Interment will follow in the Hoyle Family Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Linda Faye Hoyle Hayes; two sons, Jeff Hayes (Donna) and Lane Hayes (Loretta); one daughter, Angela Bolton; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Lou Winters; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, S.G. Hayes; and one grandson, Jeffrey Hayes.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. At other times they will be at the home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Hayes, Talton Hayes, Zach Hayes, Mike Hayes, Raynor Gilliam, Rickey Owen, Todd Hughes and Tom Wilson.
