Ruby Karen Daniel, 67, of Oxford passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Duke University Hospital.
Born in Granville County on June 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Daniel and Carolyn Paige Currin Daniel.
Ruby was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years. She impacted many lives with her sweet, fun-loving, caring and selfless personality.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Pastor Eddie Mauldin will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Katie Bowling and Jessica Bowling; one son, A.J. Bowling (Skyla); five grandchildren, Kylie Bowling, Zander Bowling, Johnathan Bowling, Scottlyn Bailey and Landon Bowling; one sister, Tammie Daniel; two brothers, Doug Daniel and Gerald Daniel and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
