Ruby Sheets McGee

Ruby Sheets McGee, 76, of Rougemont passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Granville Health System.

Born in Person County on August 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Sheets and Luna Mae Parks Sheets. She was of the Baptist faith.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Bobby McGee; two brothers, Charles Sheets (Lorraine) and Harold Sheets (Ginger); two sisters, Clara Godwin and Helen Bowes (James) and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lester McGee; one sister, Dorothy Medlin and two brothers, Carl Sheets and Junior Sheets.
