Ruth Murray Beal, 85, of Oxford passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Granville Medical Center.
Born in Granville County on July 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Murray and Rose Etta Englebright Murray.
Ruth attended Mt. Creek Baptist Church in her younger years.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowview Memorial Park. Pastor Robert Newton will officiate.
Survivors include four daughters, Ruth Powers (Wayne), Rose Watkins (Randall), Bonnie Broughton (Randy) and Susie Milton; two sons, Kenneth Beal Jr. (Tracey) and Floyd Beal; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six greatgrandchildren and one sister, Agnes M. Stone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Bradsher Beal Sr. and one brother, Floyd Bradsher Murray.
A viewing will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.
