Ryan Lee Ellington, 19, of Oxford passed away Friday, January 9, 2026.

Born on October 14, 2006, in Granville County he was the son of Cindy Renee Ellington and the late Phillip Morgan.

Ryan was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, fishing, mud-bogging and he loved spending time with his granddaddy, "Dee".

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at West Oxford Baptist Church. Reverend Bruce Beck will officiate.

Survivors include his mother, Cindy R. Ellington; his maternal grandparents, Butch and Wanda Ellington; a special niece, Katelyn Cannady; one aunt, Vicky Jones; one great aunt, Doris Evans and numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Ellington and his grandmother, Cathy Ellington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Twisdale, Zack Twisdale, Spencer Twisdale and Kenny Starling.
