Sallye C. Lloyd

Sallye Cheek Lloyd, 88, of Henderson, NC died Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at a local nursing home.

Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Irvin Cheek and Frances Shearin Cheek.  She was the widow of Dennis Garfield Lloyd.

She was a member of West End Baptist Church and the Besty Tuten's Sunday School Class.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Cade Patterson and Bob Flowers.

Surviving is a sister, Louise C. Floyd; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Davison and Kendall Lloyd, along with several nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis M. (Mike) Lloyd and Donald L. (Donny) Lloyd.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 619 Dabney Drive, Henderson, NC.
