Samuel "Sam" Edmon Hamn, 81, of Creedmoor passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at his home.
Born in Brazoria County, TX, he was the son of the late Johnnie Edmon Hamn and Mabel Edith Richard Hamn.
In his early years, Sam was a commercial fisherman with his father and loved the water and deep-sea fishing. He served with the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard for many years.
No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Phyllis Hamn; two daughters, Stephanie Hilliard (Randy) and Andrea Cowan (Slade); one stepson, Wayne Bernal (Tammy); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many friends and extended family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and one sister.
