Sandra "Sandy" Kay Allgood

Sandra "Sandy" Kay Allgood, 64, of Henderson, NC, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 14, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Ashby Allgood and Eunice Mae West.

Sandy was a dedicated employee at Document Systems Inc.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. A private inurnment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson.

Surviving is one sister; Patricia A Ranes (Chuck), one nephew; CT Ranes Jr., one niece; Christy Ranes, two great nephews; Joshua Mcghee and Jimmy Ranes, one great niece; Skylar Mcghee, a "Gammy" to Sam McDaniel III, along with extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2023, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson. All other times they will be at the home of Chuck and Patricia Ranes.
