Sarah Ann Watkins Crews

Sarah Watkins Crews, 84, of Oxford passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at Granville Health System.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Dick Watkins and Verlon Elizabeth Dean.

Sarah was a member of New Horizons Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford officiated by Reverend Cam Ford.

Survivors include three daughters, Wanda C. Garrett (Ronnie), Teresa C. Yeargin and Dena C. Hayes; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Faucette (Wayne), Blair Garrett (Skyler), Wil Yeargin, Noah Yeargin and Olivia Hayes and five great grandchildren. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dean Crews; two grandchildren, Bradley Peace Wilkins and Joshua Long Hayes and one brother, Bobby Watkins.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford. At other times they will be receiving friends at the home of Ronnie and Wanda Garrett.
