Sarah "Frances" Hedgepeth

Sarah Frances Jackson Hedgepeth 88, of Henderson, NC, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, at her home.

Born in Scotland County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. J.J. Jackson and Sarah Ann Frances Norton Jackson. She was the widow of Ted Hedgepeth.

She was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A graveside memorial service at Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham, NC, will be announced at a later date.

Survivors include two sisters, Betty J. Parker and Jeanette J. King; one sister-in-law, Tahia Roberson; one brother-in-law, Rev. John Hedgepeth; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Archie A. Jackson Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Rockingham Pentecostal Holiness Church, "Frances Hedgepeth Memorial Fund", 172 Hannah Pickett Ave., Rockingham, NC 28379.
