Sergio Morozumi Cruz

Sergio Morozumi Cruz, 64, of Henderson, NC passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Jesus Carranza, Veracruz, Mexico, to the late Enrique Morozumi Aguirre and Cidonia Cruz Jimenez. He was the beloved husband to Lucina Joachia Rosario.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters; Heidy Morozumi Joachin (Matias Reyes Martinez), Miczury Morozumi Joachin (Ramon Saturnino), one son; Sergio Morozumi Joachin (Valeria Carrasco), nine grandchildren; Heidy R. Morozumi, Jorge R. Morozumi, Ramon Saturnino Morozumi, Pauli R. Morozumi, Yareli Saturnino Morozumi, Leticia Morozumi, Leah Morozumi, Enrique Morozumi, Abigail R. Morozumi, two sisters, and two brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.

The family will receive friends at the residence, and he will be sent back home to Mexico.
