Shelby Emory Greenspan, 83, of Creedmoor, NC passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at Hock Family Pavilion.
Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James McCoy Emory and Nettie Cash. Shelby had a passion for puzzles, hummingbirds and her grandchildren.
Survivors include, her daughter, Stephanie Carnell; her son, Brian Carnell; four grandchildren, Justin Carnell, Bricen Carnell, Shelby O'Quinn and Ryan Beal; three great-grandchildren, Lexi O'Quinn, Katie O'Quinn and Kinsley Beal and two sisters, Marie Stephenson and Patricia Emory. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Greenspan and a brother, Pete Emory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27704.
