Shelia F Harris

Shelia Faye Harris, 79, of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at WakeMed Raleigh.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Raymond Harris Sr and Mary Pearl Collins Harris.

Shelia was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Ladies Bible Class.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Gardens. Conducted by Rev. Frank Sossamon. Ms. Harris will be open for public viewing at Sossamon Funeral Home in Henderson on Friday from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Survivors include one brother, Harvey R. Harris Jr (Mildred); five nieces, Suzette Wright, Beverly Jackson, Cheryl Hester, April Ellington and Kim Thompson; two nephews, Jim Ranes and Jeff Ranes; one brother-in-law, Harold Ranes; as well as many other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marsha H Ranes; and one nephew, Harvey R. Harris III.

The family will receive friends at the home of Jeff Ranes on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
