Shirley Daniel Watson, 87, of Creedmoor passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Carolina Reserve in Durham.
Born in Granville County on January 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Owen Daniel and Rachel Barnette Daniel.
Shirley was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham, NC. Pastor Carl Hunter will officiate.
Survivors include one son, Dean Watson (Deborah) and two grandchildren, Susan Sellars (Justin) and Sherry Brown (Tim). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Watson; one granddaughter, Stephanie Pope and one sister, Brenda Long.
