Shirley Fuller Wynn, 88, of Franklinton, NC went to her heavenly home on January 2, 2023.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of Wyatt Alton Fuller, Sr and Annie Faye (Jones) Fuller of Creedmoor, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 65 years, Rufus R. Wynn, Sr; a daughter Kimberly Wynn Griswold (Chuck) of Zebulon; a son Randy Wynn (Tia) of Franklinton; a brother Al Fuller (Martha) of Oxford; grandchildren Kristy Wynn, Scott Griswold, Sarah Wynn and Shannon Wynn; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was a faith-filled woman who loved The Lord, her family, church and community. She was a graduate of Creedmoor High School and the Watts School of Nursing. Her 40 plus year nursing career began at Rex Hospital in Labor and Delivery. Her last thirty-two years were spent at WakeMed in Raleigh. Nursing was her calling in life. Through her career she found ways to put her faith, knowledge & skills into service for others.

She was a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Her service will be held on January 7th at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm with service to follow. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Creedmoor, NC, for mission work.
