Stephanie V. Prado

Stephanie Vick Prado, 52, of Henderson, NC died Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Vance County on October 25, 1970, to the late Richard Cary Vick and Janet Watkins Vick.

Stephanie was a member of Freedom Life Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving is her husband, Jose Cornelio Santos Prado; two daughters, Kristen Ayscue (Gary) and Amanda Crews and one grandchild, Kendall Ayscue. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kristie Vick and a great-grandmother, Dorothy "Momma Dot" Herbert.

The family will receive friends at the home of Gary and Kristen Ayscue.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vance County Animal Shelter, 1243 Brodie Road, Henderson, NC  27537.
