Stephen C Satterwhite

Stephen "Chase" Satterwhite 34, of Oxford, NC passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of Stephen Henry Satterwhite Jr and Janet Ann Averette.

Chase was of the Baptist faith.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Conducted by Rev. William Wheeler and Steven Averette. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Crystal Dawn Satterwhite (Zack); his stepmother, Kim Satterwhite; one stepbrother, Jaron Richardson; grandparents, Andrew and Louise Beal Obrian; paternal grandmother, Ruth Huff Satterwhite; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Stephen Henry Satterwhite Sr; his maternal grandfather, WG Averette; and a dear cousin, Michael Blackburn.

The family will receive friends at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. At other times they will be at Chase's home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Clayton, Reid Grissom, Kyle Watkins, Will Pendleton, Michael Heart and Jeremy Moss.
