Terry Lane Riley, 68, of Oxford passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

Born in Granville County on November 11,1956, he was the son of the late Wallace Dillard Riley and Margie Marie O'Brien.

He was a member of Stovall Methodist Church and worked at Carolina Sunrock for more than thirty years.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Conducted by the Rev. Eddie Mauldin. Interment will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Ruby Mae Ramsey Riley; two daughters, Tina Riley Fowler (John) and Susan Diana Riley; four grandchildren, Shelby Fowler Dement (Justin), Sarah Lee Fowler, Christopher Payton Riley and Alyssa Marie Riley and three great grandchildren, Addison Faith Morris, Jaxson Cole Dement and Grayson Clay Dement. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dewayne Riley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers for the service include Jeff Ramsey, Todd Adcock, Jay Campbell, David Campbell Jr., Justin Dement and Kenneth Riley Jr.
