Timothy W Abbott

Timothy Wayne Abbott 43, of Henderson, NC, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Winston Salem.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Dennis Ray Abbott (Janice) and Pamela Jean Davis Horton.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. Conducted by the Rev. Jeff Prewer. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Tammy Lynne Watson Abbott; one son, Timothy Wayne Abbott Jr; four sisters, Connie Barbee (Don), Vickie Meador (Richard), Cyndi Wright (Mario) and Pamela Aiken; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Furman and Mae Abbott.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. At other times they will be at the home of Cyndi and Mario Wright.
