Timothy Elliott Riley, 55, of Oxford, NC, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Barbara Ann Elliott Riley and the late Ray Melvin Riley.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Tally Ho Baptist Church. Conducted by Pastor Mike Craver. Interment will follow at South Granville Memorial Gardens.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Tuesday Oliver (John); one brother, David Riley; two nephews, Justin Ray Oliver and John Adam Oliver; and a sister-in-law, Rhonda Elliott Riley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Monica Ann Riley; and two brothers, Russell Dwayne Riley and Johnny Ray Riley.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. At other times they will be at the home of John and Tuesday Oliver.

Pallbearers will be Justin Oliver, John Adam Oliver, Billy Pugh, Matthew Wilson, Billy Jo Elliott and Keith Riley.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society.
