Tommy Ray Dean, 61, of Oxford, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at his home.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of Linda Champion Fox and the late Millard Ray Dean.

He was of the Christian faith and attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving alongside his mother, are his girlfriend, Deborah Benedict; three aunts, Priscilla Jones, Mary Lee Roberts, and Brenda Champion; two uncles, Larry Champion, and Steve Champion (Denise); and several cousins & extended family members. He was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
