Virginia W Dickerson

Virginia Williamson Dickerson 91, of Henderson, NC passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Beverly Thomas Williamson and Jenny May Williamson. She was the widow of William R Dickerson.

She attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. Conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Wanda D Tart; two brothers, James Williamson and Willie L Williamson; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Dickerson; four sisters and three brothers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. At other times they will be at the home.
