Virginia M Mclernon

Virginia Anne Haithcock Mclernon, 70, of Henderson, NC died Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Maria Parham Health.

Born January 24, 1952 in Statesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Samuel Meadors and Mary Mansfield Meadors.

Virginia was a 1970 graduate of Henderson High School. She was employed with Roses for many years when she left to stay home and raise her family. In 2008 Virginia returned to work and was employed with Variety Wholesalers until she retired in 2020.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel. Conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount.

Survivors include two sons, Chadwick Ivey Haithcock and wife Beth, and Joshua Everett Mclernon and fiancé' Ariane Aniban; two grandchildren, Austin Chase Haithcock and Avery Elizabeth Haithcock; and her beloved cat, Boo Boo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Meadors and Steve Meadors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
