Wade Patterson McCampbell, 65, of Creedmoor passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home.

Born in Blunt County, TN, he was the son of the late Charles Morton McCampbell and Martha Elnora Spurling.

Wade was a very driven man and whatever he set his mind to; he accomplished. He was a master fabricator and welded for BFS Industries for many years. Wade was also self-employed and owned Wade's Roofing where he served many people in the area. He loved mowing the lawn and was very meticulous about his yardwork. One of his hobbies included building dune buggies and he was very passionate about them.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Creedmoor. Reverend Dan Hill will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, Denise McCampbell; one son, Brent McCampbell (Tiffany); one stepson, C.J. Whitt (Lauren); one grandson, Dylan McCampbell; one step granddaughter, Lilly Whitt; one step grandson, Caleb Whitt; two sisters Beth Howells and Emma Parr and one brother, Charles McCampbell.
