Wiley Wade Parham, 87, of Oxford, NC, passed away at his home in Greenville, NC on September 8, 2025.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Russell Charles Parham and Edna Mae Wade Parham.

Mr. Parham was a member and deacon at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He was also a member of the Henry F. Grainger Masonic Lodge #412, Granville County Shriner's Club, and Order of The Eastern Star Oxford Chapter #94.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Claire Pearce Parham; one son, Wiley Wade Parham II (Jan); one daughter, Annette Parham Glass (Charles); two granddaughters, Sydni Sykes (John Colby), and Avery Manning (Robert); one great granddaughter, Molly Ruth Sykes; one step-grandson, Shane Glass (Anne); two step-granddaughters, Chanel York (Matt), and Gina Polkowski (Adam); seven step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Parke Lewis Parham, Samuel Oliver Parham, Billy Parham, and Charles Parham; and two sisters, Patsy Blackwelder, and Edna Mae Thomasson.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Franklinton conducted by Rev. Don Owen and Rev. Billy Yeargin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Parham, Parke Parham, John Colby Sykes, Robert Manning, David Parham, Shane Glass, and Greg Jones. Honorary pallbearer is Chase Watkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home for Children of Oxford, attn. Cobb Center, 600 College St. Oxford, NC 27565.
